Paraguay Sets Technical Requirements for the Use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Short Range Devices (SRD) and Low Power Wide Area (LPWAN) in 918-928MHz Band. National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL) issued Resolution 1269/2020, published in Official Gazette dated June 2020, which updates the National Frequency Plan to allow RFID, SRD, and Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) devices to operate in 900MHz band. Paraguay Amends Technical Requirements for RLAN Devices:
National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL) has released a new resolution setting the conditions to operate RLAN devices. It repeals Resolution No. 35/2010, the technical standards of systems for radioelectric networks for the local area (RLAN) and amends the national note “PRG – 50” in the National Frequency Plan. The new Resolution also adds 5850-5875 MHz and 24-24.25 GHz bands to be used for RLAN application. Official source
